Stone Sheep Hunts in BC Canada with 5 Stone Outfitters
The Stone Sheep in this area are very well known for their darkness in color and sometimes even black. Five Stone Outfitting's hunting territory is part of the Omineca range and produces good quality sheep.
The average size of Rams are between 35”-37” in length with bases around 14”. We have taken rams out of this area as long as 42 ½” and with bases as heavy as 15 ½”. These animals are some of the bigger ones of course.
There are places in our area that have not been hunted in years and others that do not get hunted yearly. This is a very remote area and access is by float plane only. We only take 5 sheep hunters a year so space is limited.
Our hunts are 13 or 14 days of actual hunting. Sheep hunting may be supported by horses, but hiking is involved and the better the shape you are in the more enjoyable and successful your hunt will be. If you need a program to get in sheep shape or ideas to help let me know! Resident pressure is very low in this area and due to the few sheep tags we have in the area we do not display our sheep pictures. Please send me an e-mail or call with your info and I would be happy to send you some pictures of past and present sheep taken from this great area.
